Come shop at Beauvoir's Book Fair on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, and stay for a kick off reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In addition, Beauvoir librarian and veteran storyteller Tony Hurst will be entertaining the children in the first grade common area with folktales, legends, and stories. Two story times are available: 5:30 p.m. for kids ages two to five and 6:30 p.m. for children six and over. Tony uses storytelling to promote a love of literature and develop an appreciation of different cultures.
Beauvoir's Book Fair has hundreds of titles for young children and elementary school students as well as some titles for young adult readers and adult readers. It's a great place to get a jump-start on your holiday shopping if you have young children on your list. If you can't make it on Tuesday evening, feel free to drop by any time that the Book Fair is open!
