Mondays are associated with feeling blue (especially if the Carpenters' song, Rainy Days and Mondays is stuck in your head), but the worst Monday of them all isn't until Blue Monday in January, when the combined effects of cold days, early sunsets, post-holiday feelings, failed New Year's resolutions, and the blahs when aligned with the usual Monday blues overwhelm us. There's even a formula for calculating exactly which Monday will be Blue Monday, according to Beat Blue Monday:
