Hispanic Heritage Month at Takoma Park Library, Sept. 25

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15) the Takoma Park Library is hosting a fiesta this Saturday, Sept. 25 at 1 pm. Here is Saturday's schedule, with activities for all ages:

1:00 pm: Bilingual Storytime, followed by a maraca craft

1:30 pm: Special Guest performers Sr. Rogelio Valdes and Sr. Efrain Lopez will sing songs "para todos los gustos." (The music performance will be outside, weather permitting.)

2:00 pm: Taste of Central America - cuisine samples served during the performance.

3:00 pm: Face painting and prize giveaways
