When Recycling Goes Too Far

Not everything should be recycled or reused.  You've got to wonder who's buying the "used" version that Amazon is advertising here.


If you have something that's just not right for recycling or the trash --that's um, hazardous waste-- get rid of it at DC's hazardous waste drop off center at Fort Totten. You can read more about how to get rid of hazardous waste, such as computers, batteries, chemicals and electronics here. The center is open on the first Saturday of each month (except for holidays) from 8am to 3pm.
