Okay, this is strange. Remember yesterday's rain? If you've put it out of your mind already, you'll have a chance to relive the rain today: There's a 40 percent chance of rain, mostly in the morning, and following that clear skies. Today will be a little warmer than yesterday, but it still won't get out of the mid-50's.
Now here's the strange part: It won't rain over the weekend. Isn't it supposed to always rain on weekends?
On November 5 in 1963 archeologists discovered that the first Europeans to reach North American shores were the Vikings, who landed in what is now Newfoundland around the year 1000. Leif Erikson called the new land Vinland. By 1963, Columbus Day had already been a holiday for 26 years.
