Good Morning: It's 2011

Happy New Year! We usually post our morning weather report at 5am, and today was no different. We figured that while some Washingtonians might not be getting up early, there might be some who were still awake.  So what's the first of the year going to be like? Mid-50's and cloudy. A mild December January day.

On this day in 1966 the first mandatory warnings on cigarette packs appeared. They said, "Caution: Cigarette smoking may be hazardous to your health."
