We wanted to relay this plea that was posted on our companion email list, the
Cleveland Park Listserv, to help a teacher who lost everything in an apartment fire.
The music teacher at the school that I work for at Flower Hill Elementary, Katrina Gomez, lost everything in a horrible condo complex fire on Tuesday. Friends of hers created and donated a website to help her rebuild and I would love to pass it along: www.burningpiano.com
She is a beautiful person; she shares her time, tries to financially support her parents, is a fantastic musician (though she lost her piano) and unfortunately had no household insurance for the contents of her unit.
