Tornado Watch for DC Area

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the Washington, DC area, effective through 4pm. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for the formation of tornadoes. (A tornado warning means that a tornado has been spotted.)

Keep your eyes open and if you see a tornado or a warning is issued, seek shelter immediately.
