Cupcakes for Voters in DC's Special Election Today

Here's a sweet incentive to vote in DC special election today for at-large councilmember. Red Velvet Cupcakery is offering a free cupcake today, April 26, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm to any District voter who has voted.  Co-Owner Aaron Gordon is backing a particular candidate, but we won't say who, because he's giving out cupcakes to all voters in an effort to get out the vote, and we would not want to give the impression that anyone was being offered a bribe to vote for a particular candidate.

Red Velvet Cupcakery has two DC locations, 505 7th Street NW and 2029 P Street NW.  Even if you can't stop by to get your free cupcake, we hope you will take time to vote for one of the nine candidates for the at-large seat on the City Council.
