Turtle Park Fair Is Saturday, May 14

Turtle Park's annual May Fair is a great day in the park for the entire family. It's also the biggest annual fundraising event for Friends of Friendship Park (yes, that's the official name for Turtle Park).

This year's fair --the fourteenth one-- will have the usual favorites: ponies, moon bounces, face painting, silent auction, an entire day of entertainment. Performers include Mad Science, Groovy Nate, Marsha-Goodman Wood, and the Bolivian folk dance troop Tobas Dinastia. There's something for everyone.

Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, May 14th (Rain date: Sunday, May 15th)
Time: 10am - 4pm
Location: Friendship "Turtle" Park, 45th and Van Ness Streets, NW.

If you have any questions or you would like to get involved, please send an email to volunteer @ turtlepark.org.
