I Wish I Was a Sidewalk

The campaign is afoot to restore paradise by unpaving the Connecticut Avenue parking lot between Macomb and Ordway Streets: http://www.iwishthiswasasidewalk.org.

Sometime in the 1960's the broad sidewalk was carved up so that cars could park. This happened during the heyday of America's driving craze. Now we know better. If you'd like to help, read more about restoring Cleveland Park to its historic grandeur and sign the petition.

A wide sidewalk is much, much better than a parking lot.
