Learn About Safe Lawns at the Tenleytown Library on Monday, June 13

Join  America's 2006 Horticultural Communicator of the Year, Paul Tukey, for a lively presentation and discussion of the factors involved in creating a safe lawn and landscape with natural techniques and
products.  Bring your questions!  This event will take place on Monday, June 13 from 7-9 pm at the new Tenley-Friendship Library in the large meeting room.

Founder of the SafeLawns Foundation, and internationally recognized as the "father of the organic lawn movement," Tukey is author of the best-selling book titled, The Organic Lawn Care Manual. His
presentation will focus on natural techniques and products to reduce weeds and keep lawns lush and green without harming people, pets or the environment.

Mr. Tukey's appearance at the Tenley-Friendship Library is sponsored by Glenstone, a nonprofit art museum located in Potomac, Maryland.
