If you want to enjoy a taste of Italy without having to stand in line at Dulles, head over to
Sorriso in Cleveland Park. The food (including the pizza from the wood-burning oven) will send your palate to heaven. If you have never had veal ravioli or wild boar tagliatelle, pop over to this friendly restaurant as soon as you humanly can. (And it's just steps from the Cleveland Park Metro,so no worries about who gets to be the designated driver.) If you're in the more for something that might have come out of your Italian grandmother's kitchen, say "lasagna" or "eggplant parmigiana" and you'll be very happy indeed.
Oh, and we love the way it looks from the outside, too.
