On Saturday, June 18, the UDC Farmers Market will have its grand opening for the 2011 season. For this special occasion, they will have a series of speakers and entertainment in addition to the regular vendors. The market is open on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm on the plaza of the University of the District of Columbia at 4200 Connecticut Avenue, NW.
