Help Break the World Record in Angklung Playing - 5pm Today

What's an Angklung? It's a bamboo instrument played in Indonesia. Today, at the Cultural Festival of Indonesia, sponsored by the Embassy of Indonesia on the grounds of the Washington Monument, there will be an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records number of people gathered to play the angklung.

So if you want to be in the Guinness Book of World Records, arrive by 4:00 PM. Playing will begin at 5:00 PM. You will be supplied with an angklung. No musical experience necessary! You will also enjoy the Cultural Festival of Indonesia, with many arts, crafts, and of course, food.  The festival runs all afternoon and evening, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
