Back to School BBQ at Turtle Park on Saturday

We've already passed along the invitation for Chevy Chase Day on Saturday. But it's just a hop, skip, and a jump from Chevy Chase to Turtle Park at Van Ness and 45th Streets, so it should be possible to fit the "Back to School BBQ" into the day's events. Here's the invitation we received from Ward 3 Councilmember Mary Cheh:

This Saturday, September 17th, I will be hosting my 5th Annual Back to School BBQ at Friendship “Turtle” Park from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Come and enjoy great food, music, and the company of friends and neighbors. Various government agencies will be on hand to provide resourceful info. Free Blood Pressure checks will be available by FEMS (be sure to eat after the check, not before). I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
