Dupont Circle House Tour & Tea, Sunday, Oct 16

It's not too late to get tickets for the Dupont Circle House Tour on Sunday.  Here's what you need to know, courtesy of the Dupont Circle Citizens Association:

This year’s tour meanders through neighboring streets east and north of the Circle and features over a dozen homes, ranging in architecture from turn-of-the-century Victorian to Mid-Century Modern. Sample sites include a palatial four-story Parisian style townhouse studded with art and artifacts (that could be a latter day salon of the Académie des Beaux-Arts), and an open, modern design home, with no interior vertical load-bearing walls, which creates a cool-air effect for the sculptured central staircase leading to a luminous glass-tiled master bath.

Tickets cost $30 in advance, $35 on the day of Tour, and provide admission to all sites and afternoon Tea. The Tea is served this year at the Whittemore House, 1526 New Hampshire Avenue, NW, home of the Woman’s National Democratic Club, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.

Purchase advance tickets securely online here.  (Tickets are purchased by "registering" for the House Tour.) You will receive a confirmation email. Advance ticket sales end at 8:00pm today, Saturday, October 15.

Tickets may be picked up beginning at 11:00am on the day of the tour at the Woman's National Democratic Club, 1526 New Hampshire Avenue, NW.

Tickets may be purchased at the same location on the day of the tour until 3:30pm.
