We would like to give a plug to the Rock Creek Conservatory's project for Martin Luther King's Birthday on January 16. Here's the info you need to volunteer:
Give a helping hand to Rock Creek, the natural
treasure in our backyards, on Monday, January 16 as part of the MLK National
Day of Service.
Rock Creek Conservancy is coordinating several trash cleanups and/or invasive
plant removal events at six locations in DC and Montgomery County, from Rock
Creek Parkway in Woodley Park, DC up to South Mill Creek in Derwood, MD.
