Police Chief Cathy Lanier Meets with Citizens about Crime


The DC Federation of Citizens Associations is hosting an open meeting with Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier on Tuesday, January 24th. DC residents will have an opportunity to ask Chief Lanier questions about crime, violence and continuing traffic/pedestrian issues which negatively impact DC neighborhoods. Chief Lanier may also address concerns about the police response to the Occupy DC Movement, removing police officers from neighborhood patrols, street robberies, confrontations with panhandlers, lack of neighborhood traffic enforcement, thefts from autos, home break-ins and recent serious crimes.

When: Tuesday, January 24, 6:45pm to 9:00pm
Where: All Souls Memorial Episcopalian Church, 2300 Cathedral Avenue, NW. The entrance to the meeting room is from the parking lot on Woodley Place.
