We're happy to pass along the invitation to this eco-supportive community based event:
Hi!
Ruthie here, from the nonprofit Community Forklift. I want to personally invite you to our 3rd Annual Garden Party and Spring Sale at Community Forklift on Saturday, March 31.

Starting at 9:00 am, we'll have new, gently-used and vintage garden items for sale, including garden tools, landscaping materials, planters, and architectural artifacts.
Beginning at 12:00 noon, this festive day includes a potluck lunch, door prizes, live music, and juggling lessons from Deciduous Dave.
From 2:00 – 5:00 pm, the Neighborhood Farm Initiative will be offering gardening advice and free flower and vegetable seeds. Dogs and other friendly pets are welcome. (All animals must be on leashes). Attendees (pets included) are encouraged to wear vintage garden party attire to help create a springtime garden party atmosphere. Wear your fanciest hats, seersucker suits or favorite overalls and muddy boots!
Note to early birds: gardening supplies and tools will not be sold before March 31 at 9:00 am.
To get all the details, visit CommunityForklift.com. We're located about 30 minutes away from Woodley Park and you can find driving and biking directions on our website.
As you may know, Community Forklift does not sell forklifts. We're a nonprofit thrift store for home improvement, where folks can donate or shop for gently-used building materials, hardware and architectural salvage at a fraction of retail prices. The unusual name refers to our mission: we are "lifting up local communities" by reducing waste, creating green jobs, and making repairs affordable.
Thanks,
Ruthie Mundell
