Volunteer Clean-up of the Melvin Hazen entrance to Rock Creek, between 3701 and 3801 Connecticut Avenue, on Friday July 27th at 3pm and Saturday July 28th at 9:30am. Help lay down new dirt and railroad ties -- with enough volunteers, it'll be fun! Bring gloves, sunscreen, shovels and rakes. Drinks (Friday and Saturday) and lunch for the Saturday helpers. DeanwoodxDesign invites you to a free public event featuring Life Pieces to Masterpieces Saturday July 21 from 1 PM to 3 PM at The Fishing School, 4737 Meade Street, NE.
