Knit & Lit, knitting tips, pattern-sharing, and book discussion, on Saturday, August 18 at 3pm at the Georgetown Public Library, 3307 M Street. Free.

Saturday, August 18 at Nationals Ball Park, free concert by Third Eye Blind. The catch is that you need to buy a ticket to the Nationals vs. Mets game, as the concert starts when the game is over. The game starts at 7:05pm. Tickets available through StubHub: http://bit.ly/PtwqzA.

Home-Fit Design Program for home safety and accessibility for seniors on Tuesday, August 21, 6:30pm, 3211 Tennyson Street, NW. Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS)  will help you assess your home and help you plan to adapt so that you can remain in it as you age. Home-Fit Design is  co-hosted by AARP DC and Northwest Neighbors Village. Bring your questions and learn from the professionals. Open to the community, reservations are required by Friday, August 17 - call (202) 237-1895. Parking available in the neighborhood. Refreshments served.

The Cleveland Park Library (Connecticut Avenue at Macomb Street) is hosting a free yoga class put on by Yoga Activist on Tuesday, August 21 at 7:00pm. The class is designed for beginners but all levels are welcome.

Celtic Aire, traditional Celtic music concert on Thursday, August 23 on the west steps of the US Capitol at 8pm. Free.
