Some days I just feel like posting pretty pictures. After the events of the past couple of weeks, that's just what I'm doing today.
First up, a beautiful (but noisy) visitor on Rodman Street.

Next, we travel a short distance to the Smithsonian National Zoo to look at a a very colorful little guy (or gal?) appreciating a bright red plant. (I think it's a golden lion tamarin monkey. Don't know what the plant is. Feel free to post a message to ID the plant, if you're sure.)
And now we travel from the zoo in our nation's capital to another one far away: the Berlin Zoo in the capital of Germany, where you can see an adorable pair of twins, celebrating their first birthday. This one's a video:
