I can hardly express how much I love the name of this late December holiday market. It's perfect for me....but inexplicably, this year I'm done with all my present-buying. How did that happen? I almost regret this state of affairs; if I still had last-minute shopping to do, what could be more fitting than the Procrastinator's Holiday Market?

 

For all of you with names still to be ticked off your gift list, here are all the details:

Now in its 11th year, the Procrastinator’s Holiday Market (PHM) is DC’s favorite tradition for last-minute shoppers, local supporters, and community champions.

This year, PHM is part of It’s a Wonderful Ward — a brand-new, month-long celebration from DC Squared (DC²) designed to bring the joy of giving and community spirit to everyone in Ward 5.

Join us at Kraken on Rhode Island Main Street with a day full of shopping, sharing, and heartwarming connections.

🎄 What to Expect

• 🚂 The Holiday Train fueled by Zeke’s: Back by popular demand and connecting both anchor events this season!
• 🎁 The Giving Tree: Adopt a neighbor in need throughout December, then join us at PHM for a special in-person gift exchange celebration.
• 👕 Community Clothing Swap: Find something new-to-you and support sustainability. Remaining items will be donated through our community partners to families who need them most.
• 🛍️ Shop Local Vendors: Discover gifts from DC’s small businesses, makers, and entrepreneurs.
• 🎶 Festive Fun: Enjoy an uplifting atmosphere filled with holiday tunes, food vendors, and community joy.
