I've been a long-time resident of the DC area but have only recently returned after a brief hiatus, so I have to share my joy in knowing that I can once again order my Thanksgiving pies from Spring Mill Bread Company in Bethesda.
Their double-stuffed apple pie is crazy expensive, but it is outrageously good. I can't vouch for the pumpkin as I don't eat it, but I've ordered them in the past to good reviews.
Just couldn't help but share this all-American, too good to miss pie!
p.s. I don't know a soul at the company so I have absolutely no vested interest in plugging them. I do know you have to order your pies well in advance. Happy Thanksgiving!
