How to Park Your New Car

Don't you wish everyone in the DC area would park their new cars just like this? Especially in crowded downtown DC garages.

  1. If someone has to be that paranoid and obnoxious about parking their new car, maybe the bus would be a better option. Just sayin'...

  2. Yes, like take a prompt and reliable 30s bus to work. Ponder what will be worse.: A bus driver who snarls "schedule is wherever I'm at!" when you politely inquire why the bus is 20 minutes late? Or your annoyed boss who wonders why you always arrive late as a result.? Metrorail may be car substitute for many, but the bus is not.

  3. @ "Anonymous 9:01"...

The term "bus" was used merely as a generic term for "take public transportation" or maybe better yet, "take a cab."

Simply pointing out the obvious situation that the photo already conveys -- namely, that taking up two parking spaces in a public parking garage is NOT okay.

BTW, don't forget to note the tags. The car is registered in Maryland. Certainly there are Metro stops in Maryland where the driver could have parked and then hopped on the train.

I'm absolutely not against driving, but I can't stand rude drivers like those who park in a manner that blocks two spaces. It's so selfish!
