Tech Column: The End of iTunes

by Bill Adler

Abbie's Sleep Timer is the end of iTunes.

This marvelous, little program adds a much-needed feature to the Windows version of iTunes: a sleep timer.

Just set Abbie's Sleep Timer for however long you want to have Brahms or Katy Perry playing in the background, and at the interval you select, iTunes will shut up and go to sleep. Abbie's Sleep Timer can also shut down your entire PC when it stops the music.

You can claim the sleep timer that Apple forgot here: http://www.ephpod.com/ast/.

Mac users can check out Sleepytime, http://www.irradiated.net/?page=sleepytime.
