this May the Worst Ever for DC Weather [http://wapo.st/1TAagMe] and if the standard for bad weather is overall dreariness, who can disagree? We

little break this afternoon and evening, which will be followed by still more rain on
Sunday continuing into Monday.

I can’t find anyone who agrees with me, but this is the prettiest spring I’ve experienced in my many years in DC. The trees, shrubs, and grass all look fabulous, and the flowers are gorgeous and lasting an unusually long time. My garden is so happy. The sky is not so pretty, but everything else is.
