Get Out! Four Great Museums Have Reopened!

The weather is warming, the trees are beginning to sprout buds, and the daffodil shoots have poked up through the earth....and real life is making a comeback, at least in some limited ways.
 
Here are four museums that had gone dormant but have sprung back to life -- meaning they are open now or they will open up in the next few days. And you can visit in safety and comfort.
 
These are four great choices, listed in order from closest to farthest from Cleveland Park:
 

1. Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Garden

2. Phillips Collection

Reopens Saturday, March 6 but all passes for the free, open hours this weekend are sold out.  

Advance timed tickets required for all visitors, including children and members. No walk-ins permitted. Tickets are not transferable. Limit 4 per customer.

How to Reserve Timed Tickets. Ticket Release Schedule: Starting March 8, advance tickets will be released online on a weekly basis every Monday, with presale tickets for Phillips members released at 10 am, and general admission tickets at 12 pm. Go to https://www.phillipscollection.org/visit

Hours: Thursday-Sunday, from 11 am-6 pm; final entry at 5 pm.
Entry Window: Please be on time. Visitors arriving more than 10 minutes after their reservation risk forfeiting their tickets. Early entry is not permitted.
If your plans change: If you are no longer able to use your tickets, please email reservations@phillipscollection.org so that we may put the tickets back on sale.
 
General Admission: Adults $16; Seniors (62+) $12; Students and Educators (with ID) $10; 18 and Under Free. Members Free
 
If capacity allows, access to the Museum Shop, courtyard, and first floor galleries of the Goh Annex & Sant Building are free, no ticket required.

3. National Museum of Women in the Arts

Glenstone Museum is open for visits to the grounds and outdoor dining at the Patio in a limited capacity on visitor days (Thursday-Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.). The Arrival Hall will be open in a limited capacity for access to restrooms and a water bottle refill station, as well as the Bookstore. Scheduled visits are required, and admission is free.
