What's In Your Water? Attend DC Water Team Meeting on March 8 to Find Out

Councilmember Mary Cheh, DC Water General Manager George S. Hawkins and members of the DC Water team will be in Ward 3 on Tuesday, March 8, to talk about water projects and issues affecting the Ward 3 community.

Discussion topics include proposed water and sewer rate increases, drinking water, infrastructure, cleaning our rivers, job opportunities, and other issues raised by the community.

The meeting will be held:

How Safe Is DC's Water: Forum Tonight

How safe is our water in DC? And what is the DC government doing to ensure the safety of our water supply?

Lead in our water. Over-chlorinated water. The safety of DC's water has been in the minds of DC residents for years. Water safety is something we shouldn't have to think about, worry about, or hear about.
