How is Your Singing Voice?

The Georgetown Chorale will begins its fall season on Wednesday, September 8 at 7:00 PM at its rehearsal location at Our Lady of Victory Church School located at 4835 MacArthur Blvd, NW, Washington, DC  Area residents are invited to a stress-free audition.

Under the direction of Dr. Elaine Rendler-McQueeney the Georgetown Chorale is a 60 member singing group that performs classic choral literature with a mix of contemporary pieces, opera choruses and show tunes. Their mission is to provide for the musical excellence and education of members and give them an opportunity to perform their community service through music. The Chorale meets once a week on Wednesdays.  In addition to their winter holiday concert in December, we offer a benefit concert in support of a local charity each spring.

The Georgetown Chorale's fall season will conclude with a holiday concert on December 5 featuring Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols and a selection of some beautiful and rarely heard songs along with more traditional favorites.  The complete program for Dec 5 may be found on their website, www.georgetownchorale.org, where you can also find out more about how to audition.
