Get Your Flu Shot, Then Have Fun on Sunday

If you still haven't received your flu shot this year, it's not too late: There will be a table set up at the Farmer's Market this Sunday, November 14 between 10am - 12pm. The Farmer's Market is in the Palisades neighborhood off MacArthur Blvd, between the Safeway and Blacksalt restaurant. The vaccine is for adults and children ages 4 and over.

The cost is $30 and a detailed receipt is available for those who want to submit for insurance reimbursement.

This year's vaccine includes both the seasonal flu and H1N1 viruses.  The CDC has recommended that everyone 6 months and older get a flu shot. The flu vaccine is being administered by June Castner, MD.
