Good Morning: Just a Regular January Day

Today's Weather Forecast in Braille
After a cold start, it will warm up (warm up being a relative thing) to the mid-40's today.  With mostly sunny skies, it won't feel so cold, though.  I hope.

On this day in 1809 Louis Braille was born in France. Braille lost his sight when he was four while playing with an awl. In the 1800's a system called "night writing," that utilized twelve raised was used by soldiers to silently pass along notes. Braille adapted and improved on this by developing a simpler system of six dots that blind people could use to read and write.
