DC may not be Cannes or Sundance, but it does get its share of film festivals, and the one that's on now through March 27 is a good one: It's the annual Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital, featuring dozens of films that celebrate the wonder of the natural world and illuminate the growing challenges to life on earth.
The films --most for free-- are screening in a variety of convenient venues: the new Tenley-Friendship Library, Edmund Burke School, St. Columba's church, American University, UDC, the Austrian and Finnish embassies.
