Sullivan's Toy Store Opens at New Location

The much beloved and venerable Sullivan's Toy Store, which had to close its store in Cleveland Park due to the construction of the new Giant at Wisconsin Avenue and Newark Street, has sent this announcement of its reopening at its new location in Tenleytown:

Greetings Cleveland Park,

I'm here to inform you that Sullivan's Toy Store will be reopening its doors this Friday at our new location! Our new store is looking fantastic. Everyone who has seen it so far agrees that it blows almost any other mom-and-pop toy-shop they have visited out of the water. The new space is double the size, which has allowed us to create a much more colorful and "open" feeling, in addition to having no aisle smaller than five-feet wide, which means it is extremely stroller friendly! You can see pictures of the store on our Facebook page.

Our new address is 4200 Wisconsin Ave NW.

We're located in the American University building, near Apex Optical, the UPS Store, Ruby Tuesday, and Johnson's Flowers. Across the street from Armand's.

Parking is available (for a fee) below ground (accessible off of Van Ness street), and we have also found that there is tons of parking available in the neighborhood as well (especially across the street behind Armand's).

We'll be open Friday from 10-7, Saturday from 9-6, and Sunday from 12-5. We're closed on July 4th, but will reopen again on Tuesday the 5th, and will stay open until Christmas day!

Thank you all so much for your support throughout this move. We couldn't have done it without you!
