attend Temple Micah's book fair, Sunday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at
2829 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
The fair will feature:
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Books for America. Here is the schedule of authors' appearances:
10:00 a.m.: Marvin Kalb and Deborah Kalb speak on "Haunting Legacy: Vietnam and the American Presidency from Ford to Obama."
10:50 a.m.: Ariel Sabar speaks on "My Father's Paradise: A Son's Search for His Family's Past."
10:45 a.m.: Katy Kelly speaks on her chapter book series "Lucy Rose" and "Melonhead" (great for kids in grades 3-6) and Corkey Hay DeSimone speaks on "All About Me in DC" and "Cherry Blossom Friends" (great for kids in grades pre-K to 2).
12 p.m.: The Great Loudini will amaze young and old with his magic show.
