By now you know that Accuweather's prediction that we would be able to see the aurora borealis last night was not so accurate. Not only did the lights not make it to the mid-Atlantic region -- they never made it past the US/Canadian border. Here's what the Capital Weather Gang had to say, via Twitter: @capitalweather

I guess I really will need to go to Yellowknife in the winter after all, if I want to be sure to check this item off my bucket list.
