Get Out! And Hunt for Those Easter Eggs!

Did you think I meant those little hidden extras in video games? Do you remember when "Easter egg" was actually a thing hidden in the garden, and kids carrying Easter baskets hunted for them, and when they found them, they opened them and gobbled up the candy inside? 

Sooo retro!

But DC Department of Parks & Rec has got a bunch of old-fashioned Easter egg hunts ready and waiting for your candy-loving toddlers and big kids -- and even adults! -- to track down.

Thursday, April 6, 3:30pm - 5:30pm Easter Egg Hunt at Petworth
The community will come together for a fun-filled afternoon of activities, games, and egg hunt, to celebrate the Easter Holiday.

Friday, April 7 at 3:30pm - 5:30pm Sunny Bunny Easter Egg Hunt at Marie Reed Soccer Field 
Sunny Bunny Easter Egg Hunt is an outdoor event geared towards children ages 6 to 12. The event will consist of several different variations of an easter egg hunt with trophies -- as well as other events.
