Good Morning: Coins of the Realm

After a chilly night, it will be in the lower 60's today.  Look for light winds from the north and sunny skies. Thursday and Friday will be a little cooler, but no rain is expected until next Tuesday.

Do you have any silver coins hiding in a drawer? With the price of silver continuing to inch up, a stack of 5 pre-1962 silver quarters can net you about $24. A silver quarter contains .18084 ounces of silver. For the current value silver price and quarter value click here. Silver half dollars and silver dollars will bring you even more. (I'm writing this because I just found a bunch of silver coins in the far end of a drawer.) If you find a bunch, you can sell them at various local coin dealers.

Lost $50 Bill

Noted briefly:  This was posted on the Glover Park listserv.  Who knows? Anything is possible.
Don't ask, people. But if you found a $50 bill anywhere between Benton Street, 40th St and Calvert, I would be eternally grateful if you contacted me. I'll split it with you!
