Friendship Place Invites the Community to Its 20th Birthday Party

The Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place has sent out an invitation to the community to come to celebrate its 20th birthday.  Here's the message:

Join us for ice cream and cake as we celebrate 20 years of neighbors helping neighbors. Celebrate, have fun and learn about this extraordinary community collaboration.

When:  Sunday, September 18th from 2pm to 4pm
What:  Games and Music. Rain or Shine. Kid friendly.
Where:  Friendship Place Calvert Street Office in Glover Park, 3655 Calvert Street NW (across from the Guy Mason playground)
