"Sustainable DC" at Cleveland Park Library, Thursday, 7pm

The Cleveland Park Citizens Association is holding a meeting on the topic of "Making DC a Model Sustainable City." Mayor Gray is expected to announce his ambitious Sustainable DC initiatives next week. His goal is for DC to become a model of environmental sustainability for the country. The forum will also begin to explore what this might mean for our Cleveland Park neighborhood and other local neighborhoods.

What can we do locally in response to the climate change crisis when it becomes increasingly clear we cannot rely on international negotiations or national actions to turn things around?
