Get Out! It's the Capital Pride Parade & Block Party on Saturday, June 10, 2023

by Peggy Robin

All throughout Pride month in June there are fabulous events, activities, festivals, and parties, but the big one is the Capital Pride Parade -- and it's this Saturday, starting at 3pm at 14th & T Streets, then following a 1.5 mile route through the Logan Circle and Dupont Circle Neighborhoods, ending at 2ist & P Streets.

It's free and open to all -- and it's better than free: If you find a good spot in the crowd, close enough to passing floats and marchers, you are sure to come out with a bunch of freebies, as the parade participants toss out beads, bracelets, and candies and hand out water bottles, paper fans, and all kinds of brand-stamped merch & swag. My tip: Bring a tote bag!

Here's the info from the official Pride Parade website
