Recommended: Doctor Who Can See You Now

Our companion email list, the Cleveland Park Listserv, is a treasure trove of recommendations. We want to share on All Life Is Local, on a periodic basis, the best recommendations that have been posted on the Cleveland Park Listserv. You'll be able to search All Life Is Local for "contractor," "plumber," "computer tech," "auto body shop" -- whatever you need.

My family goes to Doctors Kerry and Michael Gray. They are a husband and wife team who run a walk-in clinic in Bethesda across from Bethesda Sport and Health. It's at  4314 Montgomery Avenue, on the one-way street that runs parallel to East West Highway. You can go anytime during business hours and some time on Saturday. The downside is sometimes there is a long wait. Kerry Gray has become our family doctor. We love her and she takes Blue Cross. Call the office at 301-951-3606 for more information.

We are seeing Dr. Asaf Mekonnen at Rockville Internal Medicine. He has been kind. His office number is 301-762-5020.

---

Dr. Morgan Delaney at Department of Medicine (GW) 2150 Penn. Ave. NW Washington, DC 20037 (202) 741-3333

---

Dr. Garry Miller: the practice is Capital Pulmonary Internists, 2440 M St., NW. 202-833-3000

---

Dr. Al Munzer -- I don't know if he takes medicare, but probably yes, but he is tops in the field and an extremely compassionate person. He is at Washington Adventist in Takoma Park, MD.

My pulmonary doctor is Eric Anderson, MD at Georgetown. My husband sees his wife, Dina KiaNoury, MD. Both are kind and compassionate physicians. Though both would work with a COPD patient, Dr. KiaNoury's schedule is a bit more open, and COPD is one of her special interests, too. Dr. Anderson's been doing a lot more critical care and pulmonary oncology work these days, but I don't see him for either of those issues. I have sleep apnea and asthma, so he sees me for those conditions. The phone number of the Pulmonary Department is: (202) 444-8830.
