Because we don't have representation in Congress, it's only fair that we get to choose a nearby Congressional race to report on. We have adopted the United States Senate race in Delaware starring Christine O'Donnell, the Republican nominee and Tea Party candidate. O'Donnell, who has the full support of her party, is worth keeping an eye on: Though O'Donnell's prospects are dim, the unexpected can happen in American politics. Her views are extreme and her background is complicated and unclear.
God bless Bill Maher. During the 1990's Christine O'Donnell was a frequent guest on Maher's Politically Incorrect. Now, slowly but steadily, Maher is releasing videos of those episodes. And thank goodness, because without Bill Maher, we'd never know, for instance, that Christine O'Donnell dabbled in witchcraft.
She said it herself: "I dabbled in witchcraft." I'm not sure what "dabbled" means. You can watch the video below. She might need a little witchcraft to get out of the trouble she may be in with the Federal Election Commission and Internal Revenue Service for using campaign funds for personal purposes.
