John Koutsoulis (240-876-6002) did some work for us, rewiring a ceiling fixture and putting in a whole house surge protector, and we were quite pleased. He was very prompt, worked quick, was neat, got it done right the first time, and his fee was rather reasonable. And, yes, he came recommended from the Cleveland Park Listserv.
